The Charlotte DMV "Express" Office
My wife has this saying, "The DMV Is the great Equalizer". What she means is that, at some point, everyone has to go to the DMV. Now, I suppose if you never have to drive then maybe you can get through life without going but let's just say a large percentage of the population has to go at some point. Now, usually people go on their birthdays right? Me included, my license expires on Sunday which is my birthday so today was really the last day I could go before it expires...

Happy Anniversary to my Sweetheart!
Saturday was our sixth wedding Anniversary. I can't believe that it has already been six years since we married on Smather's Beach in Key West Florida! I remember the day like it was yesterday, Suzi looking so beautiful the kids all dressed up, the beautiful blue sky and the puffy white clouds. Overlooking the ocean and the wonderful words that the preacher was saying to us about our future. I would do it all over again a heartbeat. I am so very much in love with Suzi it's amazing to me sometimes that we are together. God has blessed me so much with her and our life. I love you baby, here's the next 6, 12, 24 and more years!

Tim and Sarah Wedding Pictures are up!
Well, my first attempt at an official photographer is over and I can honestly say it was NOT an easy job! I did not get all of the shots that I wanted but I do think that a lot of them came out pretty well. Overall I took slightly under 400 photos for almost 2 gigabytes worth of shots at 6 Megapixel with the Canon Rebel Digital XLR. You can head over to the photo gallery and then look in other albums or take the easy road and just Click Here. Enjoy!

We got home Sunday afternoon after close to 1050 miles of motorcycling fun. Our journeys took us through some of the best roads that North Carolina and Tennessee have to offer. I have posted my pics and you can find them by Clicking Here. Not much else to say at the moment but I promise to come back with a lengthy trip log as soon as possible.
Have a great Tuesday!

Tail of the Dragon - Here we come!
Tomorrow morning we leave for Deal's Gap North Carolina. This is the location of the famed Tail of the Dragon with 318 curves in 11 miles. This year it will be myself, Steve, Aman and Stephen going. We are staying at the fabulous Fontanna Village which is only about 10 miles or so from the start of the Dragon. My plan is to take a slow leisurely pace towards Fontanna tomorrow taking probably 6-8 hours to go the 250 mile journey. The main goal is to avoid any 4 lane highways if possible and I think my route just might accomplish that.
On Friday we will drive the Dragon several times and then the Cherohala loop which will take the better part of a day. On Saturday the weather is looking fabulous and while we'll get a dragon run in in the early part of the day our destination will be a place new to me, it's called the Devil's Triangle. Wow, these places have such devious names! Anyway, it's another crazy curvey switchback set of roads somewhere in Tennessee and I can't wait to ride them and share my experiences with you all.
I better go get a g ood night's sleep, lots of riding tomorrow but I will be facebooking from the road often and will post here the full trip log and photos when I get back.
Have a great weekend!
